The secret to stunning photos isn’t just the photographer. It’s how YOU show up and prepare for your shoot!

Photography is a form of co-creation, and the energy you bring to your shoot matters just as much as the technical and creative work your photographer provides. The preparation leading up to your session plays a powerful role in the outcome of your images. A good night’s sleep, staying hydrated, nourishing your body, and tending to your nervous system are all pieces of the foundation for a beautiful and easeful shoot.

For women, even considering where you are in your cycle can be important. Choosing a time when you feel vibrant and grounded, rather than during your bleed, can help you feel more present, confident, and at ease in front of the camera.

As your photographer, I take great care to show up prepared, grounded, and focused so I can create the best possible experience and images for you. I ask that you bring the same level of intention to your side. Ensuring your outfits are ready, booking hair and makeup if that feels supportive, and arriving with your energy and mindset aligned all contribute to the magic we can create together.

A photoshoot is a co-creation. The results are 50% me and 50% you. When we both fully show up, the images we create have the power to be truly stunning, authentic, and timeless.
