A Quick Heads-Up Before You Book a Hotel Shoot
If you're dreaming of a session at Hotel Saint Cecilia (or any boutique hotel), always call ahead first. For Ashley's session, she booked a room to stay at the hotel, and that's usually the key to being able to shoot at a boutique property.
Once you have a room, reach out to the hotel, let them know your plans, and get their approval to shoot on the property. Some hotels will charge a fee and some won't, so it's worth asking up front or you might get kicked out!
It takes a little planning, but it's such a great option. I love when clients do this, and the results are always worth it.

A Breath of Fresh Air
Some sessions stay with you long after the camera is packed away, and Ashley's is one of them. From the moment we met, she brought an energy that was warm, grounded, and completely magnetic.
Ashley is a woman on a mission. She knows where she's headed, and she's building something meaningful along the way. I'm so grateful she chose me to capture her in this season of life.
She's beautiful inside and out, and honestly one of the sweetest souls I've ever met. Every frame of this session reflects that. Stunning, stunning, stunning.
I had the very best time with Ashley. She had her hair and makeup professionally done before we started, and we spent time beforehand chatting back and forth about her outfits. Her final look, a rich maroon outfit, was actually my suggestion to add a little pop of color, and I'm so glad she went for it.

The Session at Hotel Saint Cecilia
We spent the session at Hotel Saint Cecilia, the gorgeous boutique hotel tucked just off South Congress in Austin. Its lush gardens, moody interiors, and timeless details made the perfect backdrop for Ashley's brand.
What made this space extra special was the outdoor area. It's absolutely gorgeous. We were lucky to be there on a really quiet day, right around sunset, so we had room to slow down, play, and soak up that golden light. It was so much fun.
A huge thank you to the Hotel Saint Cecilia team for welcoming us into their space. It truly was a dream session.
