Austin friends — it’s finally happening.
My work is going up on the walls again. And this time, it feels different.
When I unwrapped the prints for the first time I literally held my breath. Seeing them in person the depth, the fine tones, the texture of the matte fine-art paper, it’s nothing like seeing them on a phone screen. They feel alive. They feel dimensional. They feel like they’re ready to breathe in real space. That’s why I want you to come see them in person!
I am honored to be a featured artist at Julie Ahmad Women’s Gallery during the Austin Studio Tour. The Tour is a city-wide celebration of art happening Saturday & Sunday, November 8-9 and 15-16, 2025, from 12pm-6pm each day. It’s free, open to all ages, and invites you to explore artists, studios, and creative spaces across Austin.
This show matters to me. The last time my photography hung in a gallery was back in 2017—my graduation year. Since then, I’ve quietly built my vision: photographing women stepping into power, photographing nature’s quiet poetry, learning how to translate what I feel into what you see. To finally hang six large framed pieces and offer a full collection of nature prints (sizes 8×12, 11×14, 12×24) printed on smooth matte fine-art paper. It’s a dream becoming real!
My work lives at the intersection of these two loves: women shining in their true essence, and nature whispering its timeless stories. Both feel like prayer. Both feel like staying awake to life.
Deep gratitude to Julie for curating this space and having me in.
If you’re in Austin, I would love for you to come by, stand in front of a piece, feel the paper, feel the scale, see how it changes in the light.
The gallery will be open:
Saturday, Nov 8 & Sunday, Nov 9
Saturday, Nov 15 & Sunday, Nov 16
12:00 pm to 6:00 pm each day
Bring someone who loves art, bring a curious heart, wander slowly, pause, experience the work in real time. This one is special—I can feel it in my bones.
Hope to see you there.
With love, Camille
